Objective

Sheikh Hacene Chebbani is the director of religious affairs with the Islamic Information Society of Calgary. He has been delivering regular halaqas and providing social counselling for the last 24 years in Canada. The objective of this project was to build his official website so students and the wider community can access his lectures, books, campaigns, and organizational work from one place.

Tasks I have done

• Front-end development of the public website
• Layout and UI for lectures, books, campaign, and about sections
• Content structure for English, Arabic, and Amharic book listings
• Integration and polish for the live scholar site at Deeni Info Tech

Summary

The site is the official online home for Sheikh Hacene Chebbani. Visitors can browse lecture series covering topics such as Islamic finance, the signs of the hour, authority of the Sunnah, and family issues in the Quran; explore popular books; follow the “Proofs of Prophethood in Every House” campaign; and reach related organizations and contact details. Deeni Info Tech developed the applications for Sheikh Hacene Chebbani, and I built the website as a front-end developer while employed there.
